I know, I know... I haven't published anything on here in a LONG time, but I couldn't resist with this one.
Back in 2009, scientists determined that a herd of 200,000+ caribou had vanished off the face of the earth, with the cause being attributed to (what else?) global warming.
Well, a couple years later, and some time spent doing actual research instead of jumping to conclusions, it turns out that the herd just moved north. Imagine that!
How they survived the never-ending onslaught of CO2 and barrage of sun's rays, we'll just never know.

A new Gallup poll released today shows that nearly half of all Americans polled believe that the seriousness of the global warming situation, as presented in the media, is generally exaggerated.

Over that past couple months I have watched incredulously as the world's thick veil of global warming certitude has been transformed into torn and tattered rags. Once held aloft as the noble and great ones, climate scientists such as those from East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit are now shunned for their despicable acts of data manipulation and falsification.
I must admit, I watched this scene play out from a mostly passive position. Inundated daily with news of fraud and lies by those who would have us bow as serfs to international environmental overlords, I honestly couldn't keep up. But even as the myth of human caused global warming unravels before the world's eyes, the masters and perpetuators of the fabrication continue undaunted, brazenly advancing and spreading the fear wherever it may find a foothold.
Many times, I can laugh at their ridiculous antics as they consistently make fools of themselves with their utter hypocrisy. I shake my head as I watch cartoons with my kids and see commercials telling them to "Go Green" and "Your Planet Needs You".
Today however, I am not laughing. In fact, I'm angry. When the lies, falsified data, and hypocrisy reach a certain level, there are those who may find themselves overwhelmed and gripped by uncontrollable fear, unable to discern the truth through the murky waters of disinformation. Such is the story of a small family in the little town of Goya, Argentina. The parents of this family, stricken with such anxiety over global warming as to take the most unspeakable action imaginable, proceeded to shoot their two-year-old son along with their seven month old baby girl before they turned the guns on themselves and took their own lives.
Such a story makes my stomach turn and leaves me incensed at those who would lead these parents to believe that this was their only alternative! Of course, I do not hold these parents guiltless, as theirs was the final decision to take such drastic action, but if you are a proponent or a believer in the pernicious warming lie, it ought to at least give you pause enough to think twice about the fear that has been propagated over a man-made climate change hypothesis that has little basis in fact.
And if you are Al Gore, I hope you can sleep well tonight knowing that you have had a part in causing three more deaths than your so-called "global warming" ever has.
One final note: The tiny seven month old baby girl miraculously survived this ordeal after laying 3 days alone, with a bullet in her chest, beside the lifeless bodies of her parents and older brother. That is one remarkable little survivor!

As the cold and snow continue to pound the East Coast today, Senator Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) sent this little nugget across the Twitosphere:
"It's going to keep snowing in D.C. until Al Gore cries 'uncle'."
In other news, The Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works postponed their hearing on "Global Warming Impacts" due to...
SNOW!

Just because I'm a Global Warming denier, some might categorize me as a cruel, heartless nature-hater. In fact, nothing could be further from the truth!
I love the outdoors... the fresh smell of pine and cedar trees in the Cascade Mountains, the white sandy beaches on the Iberian Peninsula, fishing the lakes and streams of Yellowstone... The world is a beautiful place.
I also love it when someone releases a slideshow of newly discovered animal species for our viewing pleasure. So here is a slideshow of some cool new species that were found in the Ecuadorian rainforest.
As you are reading the descriptions, note how a simple slideshow turns into a commentary on "human-caused climate change" (slide 7) and "imperiled forests" (slide 8). One thing that drives me absolutely nuts when reading an article is when the author uses the word "may" to introduce an unfounded point of view with no other data to back it up.
Here, he says, "Warming and drying trends from human-caused climate change may interfere with these frogs' ability to reproduce." Says who??
It's kind of a literary crutch for a writer who otherwise has no foundation for his statement. Look, I can do it too:
"The sun MAY explode and burn the earth to a crisp within 30 days!"
"Al Gore MAY be an alien disguised in human skin from the planet Feebledork."
"Scientists MAY have discovered a link between a belief in man-made global warming and mental deficiency."
